🎭 Plot Focus:
The film focuses on Song Lao San's revenge in 1945, with a subplot about the sacrifice of the national hero Yang Jingyu (1905–1940, 35 years old at his death).
In 1940, Song Lao San's superior Cheng Bin betrayed the Anti-Japanese United Front Army and surrendered to the Japanese. Song Lao San joined him out of loyalty. Learning Yang Jingyu was in danger, he tried to stop Cheng Bin from harming him but was chased by Cheng Bin. Later, he joined the 88th Brigade in the Soviet Union.
After the war ended in 1945, the 88th Brigade was ordered to go to Shenyang, but Song Lao San left alone to hunt down the traitor who betrayed Yang Jingyu. The platoon leader Ma Mingwu suspected him of being a traitor and ordered Cui Zi and Lao Gathou to pursue him.
Song Lao San first killed the Japanese puppet police chief who had betrayed Yang Jingyu, then went to find and kill Cheng Bin, and finally took revenge on all the traitors who betrayed Yang Jingyu with the help of his comrades. He also found love with Sun Er Niang.
