Synopsis:
Wu Long, a famine refugee, arrives in the city and becomes a porter at Dahong Rice Shop thanks to his brute strength. However, his insatiable appetite earns him constant ridicule from the shop owner, Boss Feng, and his eldest daughter, Qiyun. In stark contrast, the younger daughter, Zhiyun, who has been the mistress of the local gang leader, Sixth Master, always greets him with a smile.
While enduring relentless bullying during the day, Wu Long finds solace only at night, lying in the rice warehouse, chewing raw grains. One day, he accidentally discovers Zhiyun having an affair with Sixth Master's subordinate, Abao. Harboring resentment toward Abao for his mistreatment, Wu Long secretly reports them to Sixth Master, resulting in Abao being stabbed to death.
Tasting the thrill of revenge for the first time, Wu Long becomes exhilarated, unable to sleep through the night. Meanwhile, Zhiyun’s relentless flirtations completely unravel his moral compass. From that point on, Wu Long embarks on a relentless spree of revenge, targeting the city dwellers who have wronged him one by one...
