Synopsis:
During the Republican era, in a county town, a rickshaw puller named Zhuzi comes into possession of an account book that contains evidence of the county magistrate’s crimes, drawing covetous attention from various factions. Police officer Yan Ji steps in to protect Zhuzi, intending to use the opportunity to eliminate the local criminal forces. After several intense confrontations, justice ultimately prevails over evil, and Zhuzi goes on to live a happy life.
