American war drama based on true events. The Battle of the Bulge in 1944 was launched in the Ardennes region of eastern Belgium, north-east France and Luxembourg. The attack was a great surprise to the Allied forces and resulted in the American army being hit the hardest and caused them to suffer more casualties than in any other operation during World War II. In this dramatised portrayal, Lieutenant Robert Cappa must strategise and command his platoon to help defeat the German aggressors.
